Nitro cars are sophisticated machines and capable of high speeds.High speed collisions will damage them (and other things). The cars(particularly with nitro engines) are subject to extreme vibration and other stresses - it is normal for screw/nuts/bolts to undo themselves and/or disappear spontaneously.
